BIOGRAPHY OF DR. MOHAMMED SEIDU

Dr. Mohammed Saeed, President of this revered organization.   As a seasoned entrepreneur and leader, my journey has been shaped by a rich tapestry of experiences. From my family's esteemed cola nut business to my tenure as a football administrator and chairman of the regional beach soccer association for Greater Accra, I have been privileged to navigate diverse fields. Additionally, I have served as a political consultant and business consultant, and currently, I am the West Africa Coordinator for Zada Security Company, a British-based organization. As I stand before you today, I am reminded of the profound heritage that has shaped my identity. My grandfather, Iddrisu Mohammad Yanga, migrated from Kano Dala Regiya Hudu to Tamale, Ghana, alongside his brother Dan Auta, a lineage that connects me to the revered Alhaji Lawal Mai Kujera na Kumasi. My father, Alhaji Seidu Iddrissu, also known as Alhaji Tanko, was born in Tamale Moshie Zongo and later settled in Asokore Effiduase, where he met my mother, Adama Kassim. I was born in this historic town, steeped in tradition and culture. I proudly acknowledge my maternal lineage, tracing back to Dusinma Kasina State in Nigeria, migrated to Zugu Benin to Yendi Ghana to Slaga and last but not the least to Asokore Ashanti the legacy of my great-grandfather, Mallam Awudu, a prominent figure in our community. I also pay tribute to the esteemed leaders of Asokore Zongo, including Baba Baraw Abdallah, the first Sarkin Zongo; my grandfather, Baba Kassim Abdallah, the second Sarkin Zongo; and the current Sarki Muntaka Huseini. As we convene today, I emphasize the significance of preserving our community's land ownership and heritage. The land of Asokore Zongo is an integral part of our history, and it is our collective responsibility to protect and honor our traditions. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to working together to uphold the values and legacy of Hadinkan Hausa Da Hausawan Duniya.
